I shall start this review with a confession: I didn't quite get to the end, as my knackered old kindle decided to breathe its last when I hit around 90%
I did however, read enough to tell you that it is a book that builds well from the first in the series (The Betrayal) The core cast of characters evolve as the story develops, and as with the first book, there is plenty of action and excitement along the way.
Stacy really has something going with this series. It's a short, punchy read written with real verve and pace, and I shall look forward to seeing where the story takes us next
